Meet Tom Eastek
Tom Eastek is a Insurance and Annuity Advisor at EightPoint Financial - bringing decades of experience running a trucking company, before transitioning this business and acquiring and operating one of the largest privately held self-storage businesses in Eastern Ohio. Tom brings with him a depth of experience as a business owner to help other business owners and individuals make sure they have the proper insurance and protections in place in Ohio.
My Story
Tom graduated from Leetonia High School in 1991 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University in 1995, with a focus in Manufacturing and a minor in Business Finance.

Following graduation, Tom built a career as a self-employed entrepreneur. He owned and operated a trucking company specializing in the delivery of aviation fuel within a 500-mile radius of Leetonia, Ohio. In 2013, he transitioned into commercial real estate, where he has since grown his business through organic development, expansion, and mergers and acquisitions.

After the sale of his trucking business, Tom expanded his professional skill set through continuous learning, including options trading, networking, CAD, and other technical disciplines. He also earned his fixed insurance and life insurance licenses. Over time, he developed a strong interest in financial markets and in strategies designed to help individuals invest, protect, and preserve wealth.

Tom’s interest in financial services is rooted in early exposure to the industry. His grandfather was a MetLife insurance agent, and Tom accompanied him on client visits during his youth. Those early experiences helped shape a long-term appreciation for financial literacy, planning, and wealth protection.

Today, Tom is dedicated to helping clients pursue their financial goals through his work with the team at EightPoint Financial, leveraging comprehensive planning resources to help individuals build, protect, and secure their long-term financial future and retirement plans.
